After a week of being targeted by trolls

Stephanie Davis announced that she was expecting ex Jeremy McConnell’s baby back in May, but her pregnancy has been far from an easy ride.

She was on the receiving end of some vile Twitter abuse, much of it questioning the truth of the claim. So we were pleased to see that she’s not letting the trolls get the better of her and still managing to enjoy this special time.

She uploaded a pic to Twitter, showing some SERIOUSLY cute new purchases for the unborn baby.

One is a sleeping suit and matching hat with the words ‘mummy and me’ on them, and another what looks like the world’s most comfortable cardigan (which we definitely wish came in adult size).

She captioned the adorable pic: ‘Mummy and me how cuteeee winter cardigan! Wardrobes more full than mine already xxx’

Her fans were quick to support the star. One said ‘@StephDavis77 so lovely to see you so positive and happy !You’ve got everything to smile about, good family/friends and little growing baby x’ and another ‘Can’t wait for you to wipe the smile of certain peoples faces! Look after yourself babe!’

The support comes after extensive online abuse aimed at the Celebrity Big Brother star. Earlier this week, a user tweeted her saying: ‘you’re not even pregnant. We’re all just waiting for the inevitable ‘miscarriage horror’ story. You’re a mess’

Steph was quick to blast the troll, saying ‘Absolutely disgusting! This is why I’m not sharing any photo as there’s so many vile people! I’ve been under enough’.

Many rushed in to support the former Hollyoaks actress – including her CBB co-star Christopher Maloney – who branded the troll ‘disgraceful’ for targeting a pregnancy woman.

But Steph clearly isn’t letting any vile comments get her down. Also this week, she was pictured out laughing and enjoying a night out with friends, captioning it ‘laugher is good for the soul’.
