It feels like we've waited a lifetime for this year's Strictly Come Dancing, but this weekend it finally hits our screens, and here are the debut dances we can expect from the contestants!
Have you been wondering which dance your favourite 2015 Strictly Come Dancing star will perform first? Well Now have the answers – but not only that – we even know which songs they’ll be dancing to!
It feels like we’ve waited a lifetime since the celeb hopefuls were partnered up with the professionals. But as they perform their debut dances this weekend, we can officially say that Strictly season has started – and we’re a bit too excited!
If you were hoping to re-live Peter Andre‘s ‘Mysterious Girl’ music video, you might be very disappointed. Pete will be putting his Cha Cha to the test with the song ‘Ain’t No Other Man’ by Christina Aguilera. We can definitely see this working.
He won’t be the only Cha Cha dancer of the night either. The Wanted star, Jay McGuiness will be hitting the dancefloor with ‘Reach out, I’ll be there’ by Human Nature, whilst Carol Kirkwood Cha Cha’s her way around the sparkly studio to ‘Thunder In My Heart’ by Leo Sayer, and Jeremy Vine does it his way with ‘September By Earth’ by Wind and Fire.
Anita Rani will also be rated by the judges for a Cha Cha dance, to the Clean Bandit chart-topper ‘Rather Be’ – Cha Cha overload!
Waltzing is also a biggie this weekend, with Daniel O’Donnell waltzing his way to the judges hearts with ‘When Irish Eyes Are Smiling’ by Ruby Murray. We’re finding this adorable already.
Hot favourites, Jamelia and Kirsty Gallacher, will be going against him – and each other – to nab the highest score for the waltz. Jamelia will be dancing to ‘Do Right Woman, Do Right Man’ by Aretha Franklin and Kirsty will be strutting her stuff to ‘Vincent’ by Don McLean.
This means Helen George will have some intense competition for her waltz! She’ll be performing to ‘With You I’m Born Again’ by Billy Preston.
Georgia May-Foote and Anthony Ogogo will be speeding things up with the jive. Georgia will show off her jazzy skills to the ‘Dear Future Husband’ by Megan Trainor and Anthony will be livening things up with the upbeat classic ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go Go’ by Wham – which suits his name perfectly – genius!
Katie Derham will hopefully be jiving her way through to next week too, with ‘Roll Over’ by Chuck Berry.
We’ve also got high hopes for olympic champion, Iwan Thomas, who will be testing his tango this weekend to ‘Keep On Running’ by Spencer Davis.
Kellie Bright‘s tango is taking us all back in time to the 60s with ‘You Really Got Me’ by The Kinks and Ainsley Harriott will be reminding us of our cheesy disco days in his tango performance, with ‘Voulez-Vous’ by Abba.
We don’t know which one to be most excited for!
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Friday 25 September at 9pm when 6 couples will dance with the remaining 9 couples taking to the dancefloor on Saturday 26 September at 6.15pm.
