We are OBSESSED with this season of Strictly Come Dancing, and even more obsessed by the professional dancers each year. We’re talking about the men and the women too, definitely got a girl-crush going on.. but also a guy crush..
But, we want to get to know the men in a little more detail..
So, with that in mind, it got us thinking about who the ‘ek are those talented men dating?
So let’s meet the women behind the men shall we?
Anton Du Beke
What does he do: He’s a british ballroom dancer, and TV presenter.
Where would you have seen him: On Strictly! Unfortunately he hasn’t won any but he did come third with Lesley Garrett is his highest ever placing. And that was in series one!
Relationship status: Married. He and longtime girlfriend, Hannah Summers, secretly tied the knot after the birth of their twins, one girl and one boy, on March 30 2017.
What does he do: He’s an English dancer and choreographer!
Where would you have seen him: Before Strictly he reached the fourth semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2013, alongside dance partner and now fellow Strictly dancer, Chloe Hewitt. He joined the BBC One show in 2016.
Relationship status: Single! Or is he? He has been romantically linked to his celeb partner Mollie King ever since the series started in September. The duo are inseparable, often seen grinning in each other’s company, and Strictly judges have commented on their ‘believable chemistry’. Watch this space…
What does he do: He’s a New Zealand ballroom dancer, specialising in Latin American dancing.
Where would you have seen him: On Strictly Come Dancing of course! He won the very first series with partner Natasha Kaplinsky and has appeared on every series since!
Relationship status: Married! He wed Zoe Hobbs in 2010. The couple have a four-year-old daughter, Aurelia, and announced in September that they are expecting a second.
What does he do: He’s a Spanish dancer and choreographer who was handpicked to represent Spain in the World Latin Championships in 2010.
Where would you have seen him: Strictly Come Dancing is his first major TV appearance.
Relationship status: Single. However, he’s been romantically linked to Gemma Atkinson on this series of the show, which has reportedly not sat well with his celeb partner, Alexandra Burke.
What does he do: He’s an English professional dancer born in Waltham, Lincolnshire.
Where would you have seen him: Strictly Come Dancing, having previously worked as an assistant choreographer.
Relationship status: Married since 2015 to fellow Strictly pro dancer, Karen Clifton. However, their marriage is reportedly on the rocks, with Karen linked to accountant Stuart Wood. Say it isn’t so!
What does he do: He’s an Italian dancer and choreographer!
Where would you have seen him: Strictly Come Dancing!
Relationship status: Single… although Giovanni is said to be secretly dating his fellow Strictly choreographer Luba Mushtuk. He also dated his 2015 celeb partner Georgia May Foote, although they split less than a year later.
What does he do: He’s a Russian professional latin and ballroom dancer
Where would you have seen him: Professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing! He won the Glitterball trophy with Caroline Flack in 2012, but he’s since come second with Chelsee Healey and Kimberley Walsh. He was eliminated first this year with partner Chizzy Akudolu.
Relationship status: In a relationship with Countdown’s Rachel Riley! They first met when they danced together on Strictly in 2013, but didn’t become a couple until September 2016.
What does he do: He’s from Slovenia and is a dancer and choreographer!
Where would you have seen him: Professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing!
Relationship status: Married to fellow Strictly dancer Janette Manrara. They wed in July 2017 and had THREE extravagant ceremonies to celebrate.
What does he do: He’s a pro dancer too.
Where would you have seen him: As a professional dancer on BBC Strictly, but he hasn’t had the chance to compete yet and for the second year running he’s not been given a partner. This year, he will contribute towards It Takes Two, and of course be there if anyone gets injured.
Relationship status: Married! Neil and fellow Strictly dancer Katya were introduced in Blackpool in 2008 and have been together ever since. They married in 2015 in London. The couple are also four times undefeated British National Professional Champions!
