The singing sensation says the occasion is always a noisy affair

Susan Boyle has fond memories of family Christmases.

The Britain’s Got Talent runner-up, 49, enjoys getting together with her loved ones and the festive season is her favourite time of the year.

‘There have been so many wonderful Christmases over the years. When I was 13 I got my first record player and two Osmonds LPs that were worn thin by the end of the year,’ she recalls

SuBo also enjoys putting her feet up in front of the box after eating her turkey and sprouts.

‘Another fond memory are the Christmas films, the Morecambe And Wise shows and Top Of The Pops, which we always had on the TV in the background,’ she tells The Guardian Weekend.

‘Though too many Boyles in the room meant there was always a lot of noise!’
