Guys who try to make Taylor something she isn't? Swifty shakes them off!

Taylor Swift has (kind-of) spoken about her blossoming romance with Calvin Harris in a candid interview with Vanity Fair.

While she didn’t mention the hunky Scotsman by name, she was positively gushing about all the great stuff happening in their seven-month relationship.

She’s had a pretty eventful dating history, so it’s not surprising that she decided to sit back and wait for the romance to find her before she hooked up with Calvin back in February.

That was the way I decided to go on with my life,’ she said, referring to when she was single back in 2014. ‘Not looking for anything, not necessarily being open to anything, but only being open to the idea that, if I found someone who would never try to change me, that would be the only person I could fall in love with.’

And fall in love she did with the buff Scottish DJ. He’s clearly on board with all of her Swifty quirks, because she was pretty damn certain that no man was going to stop her being who she was.

‘It’s about finding someone who is not critical,’ she continued. ‘That can be the most painful thing, trying to love someone who is critical in their nature.’

Calvin is obviously just the laid-back bloke she was looking for, if the rumours around their romance are to be believed. US magazine Life & Style claimed that Calvin has been spotted ring-shopping, despite not even dating Taylor for a year.

He certainly seems to be faring better than some of her past relationships with the likes of John Mayer (who is now in an on-off relationship with her nemesis Katy Perry) and Harry Styles.

Let’s hope Taylor and Calvin have many happy years ahead of them, and that there’s no need for her to pen another break-up song any time soon.
