Pregnant Steph, 23, was watching the show and couldn’t hide her emotions as she took to Twitter.

‘Makes me so sad hearing it,’ the former Hollyoaks star wrote. ‘love you Dan’

Soon afterwards she praised Danniella, 42, for her bravery in speaking out.

Steph Tweeted: ‘Wow @westbrookdanni so true so honest, so relatable and real. Tears in my eyes. I love you xxx’

Danniella was touched by her former CBB buddy’s kind words and replied: ‘I love you too babe all the world xx @Stephdavis77’

The programme saw Danniella open up to therapist Mandy Saligari about the various traumas she’s experienced in her life, including the heartbreaking abuse she says she suffered when she was younger.

‘I was sexually abused as a child. I was seven years old,’ she explained. ‘It was within the workplace and continued for a lot of my life.’

She added: ‘At seven I was like a 14-year-old. There were certain things going on with me that shouldn’t have been.’

The show proved highly emotional viewing for all and Steph wasn’t the only famous name to show support for the Danniella.

Jeremy McConnell – Steph’s ex who she claims is the father of her baby – got in touch by Tweeting Danniella to say: ‘proud of you’

Meanwhile Josie Gibson admitted that show had got her feeling all sorts of emotions.

‘Ive gone from laughing my head of to crying my eyes out @westbrookdanni in therapy. What a roller coaster…omg xx,’ she wrote.

The next star who’ll be seen opening up on In Therapy is another CBB face, Gemma Collins, and will air on 5 July at 10pm on Channel 5.
