Tulisa demanded Fazer take a lie detector test after he was seen with Chloe Green
Describing herself as a ‘ghetto Miss Marple‘, she’s told how she was so certain Fazer, 25, was playing away with Topshop heiress Chloe Green, 21, she had him followed – even though the pair insisted they were just friends.
In her autobiography Honest: My Story So Far, Tulisa explains when she and Fazer left for the Maldives on holiday, she was tired of the drama of their relationship and fed up with arguing.
‘It had drained me to the point of submission and I wanted out,’ she writes.
‘Fazer knew something was wrong. I didn’t want to have sex with him or get too close to him and we were more like mates than lovers.
‘There was nothing I could do about it. I barely had anything left in me to give.
‘When we arrived back in London I moved in with Gareth [Varey, her PA] temporarily, telling Fazer I needed a bit of space away for a while.
‘I don’t know, maybe I thought I might miss him and want to give us one last chance.
‘Within days of me moving out, however, there were press stories about him and Sir Philip Green’s daughter Chloe out on the town together.
‘When one of my mates called me after spotting Fazer and Chloe coming out of a club together one night, I asked my friend to follow them.
‘Yep, ghetto Miss Marple was on the case one final time!
‘Later that night, my friend sent me a picture of them going into Chloe’s building together, which
I then sent straight to Fazer.
“BINGO!” I said.
“Got ya!” Fazer’s comeback was something about having been at a party at Chloe’s place the night before and going back to pick up his phone charger.
‘I told him we were finished and I was leaving him for good.
‘The next thing I knew, Fazer was banging on Gareth’s door at 3am, screaming the place down and going mental.
‘”You’re a psychopath,” he was shouting outside the door. “I ain’t done nothing! You have to believe me.”
‘I still didn’t believe him, but I didn’t have any evidence so I gave him one more lifeline – I’m fair like that.
“OK,” I said, “if you’ll take a lie detector test and you’re telling the truth, I’ll give you a chance.
‘”Otherwise, we’re finished. I can’t trust you any more. It’s a lie detector test or I’m gone!”
‘It may sound crazy, but I had to follow my instincts.
‘As I suspected, he wouldn’t do the test.
‘He made every excuse under the sun over the next week not to do it.
‘”Well then, we’re finished,” I told him.
‘And I meant it.’
