Katie Price on Kieran Hayler’s cheating

The 37-year-old star opened up to presenters Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden on the realities of caring for Harvey, 13, who has multiple disabilities including blindness, autism, ADHD and Prader-Willi syndrome, and got very honest about the challenges it brings.

Recently, for example, Harvey has become interested in glass and has SMASHED some of the windows at Katie’s home, and the star also spoke of how he can be difficult to handle if he’s in a bad mood.

‘It’s challenging, it’s hard work,’ Katie – who as well as Harvey has son Junior, 10, and daughter Princess, 8, from her marriage to Peter Andre as well as Jett, 2, and Bunny, 1, with hubby Kieran Hayler – explained on the ITV show.

‘On the VT you don’t get to see what it’s like in the morning. He wets his bed. He doesn’t know how to aim on the toilet so we’re constantly cleaning his toilet.

‘But that’s part and parcel of having Harvey and I would not change anything.

‘What Harvey wants, you have to go with it. You saw my windows – he’s into smashing windows at the moment.

‘If he doesn’t want to go to school, he’ll kick off. He knows how to manipulate people.’

Katie admirably takes the challenges in her stride though and clearly dotes on her eldest child and his ever-growing personality.

‘He lives like the king, he is the king of the house,’ the mum-of-five affectionately revealed.

‘He’s got such a big personality, he makes me laugh, I love him so much and I know he absolutely dotes on me.

‘As he’s got older his personality has come out. He is funny.’

This endearing honesty got viewers talking on Twitter and the majority of comments about Katie Price were overwhelmingly positive…

Katie also met another family with a disabled child, the Harrisons, in a VT shown during her appearance on the show and it clearly inspired viewers.

We couldn’t agree more.
