After being accused of body-shaming X Factor's Cheryl, Vicky Pattison recieved comments and abuse from fans
For the past couple of months, the words body-shaming and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini have gone hand in hand.
And when fellow Geordie lass Vicky Pattison made a comment about Cheryl’s small frame, Chezza’s fasn were not having any of it.
Back in July, Vicky said to The Sun: ‘Get yourself to Greggs for a pie or a stottie cake. Get yourself to Newcastle, pet, chill, havea night in with a Chinese.’
‘So many women across the nation look up to her and she should bear that in mind. I don’t think she will be taking this weight loss lightly and hopfully she will be trying to gain a bit.’
We’re sure Vicky was only having a LOL and didn’t mean any harm of her comment.
But the 32-year-old X Factor judge’s soldiers were quick to defend her, and poor Vicky ended up getting loads of stick for it.
‘The abuse I got was ridiculous. It was like I was a national hate figure.’
‘Cheryl is one of my favourite celebrities. All I said was she was a little bit thin and should go to Greggs. I wasn’t trying to body shame her but all her fans jumped down my throat.’
C’mon guys, can’t we just all get along! (We sound like the girl crying on stage in Mean Girls now…)
