Certain aspects of her past have left Vicky feeling ashamed

Vicky Pattison has made quite a name for herself off the back of reality TV, having first come to fame on Geordie Shore before conquering the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

It looks like we won’t see Vic trying her hand at Celebrity Big Brother or the like in the future though as she’s vowed NOT to return to the format.

Vicky Pattison reveals how I’m A Celebrity presenting debut left her in tears

Yep, the 29-year-old star – who is currently loved-up with boyfriend John Noble – has sworn off reality TV so that she can maintain a little more privacy in her life.

‘I wouldn’t do another reality show,’ she explains. ‘I’m a very open person but, at the same time, there are things I want to keep to myself and reality TV takes that luxury off the table.’

Vicky admits that her past experiences have influenced her decision, having come to regret some of the things she’s done on screen in the past.

During her time on Geordie Shore the Newcastle lass got up to all sorts of wild antics, from having sex in front of the cameras to getting drunk and ending up in fights.

She was even arrested in 2013 for assaulting a student during a night out and was sentenced to a community order as well as being ordered to pay compensation to the victim.

Not only that but her tumultuous relationship history has played out on telly too. Viewers watched her brief engagement to Ricci Guarnaccio sour on Geordie Shore and her similarly ill-fated romance with Stephen Bear was shown on Ex On The Beach.

‘I try not to have regrets,’ Vicky tells Closer magazine of her reality TV past. ‘I know I would never be where I am without it and I will always be grateful for that.

‘But there are some things I did on Geordie Shore that I will never forgive myself for.

‘I lost myself on that show – I became a character and got lost in the machine. I swapped my self-respect for attention for a while.’

Walking away from reality TV hasn’t done Vicky too badly so far. She’s started her career as a presenter and has also popped up on series including panel shows Loose Women and Virtually Famous.

Oh, and she’s still got her own range of fitness supplements as well as having written books and fronted a campaign for Ann Summers.

All in all we’d say you’ve done alright, Vic!
