I'm A Celeb winner, Vicky Pattison, breaks down in tears on This Morning before admitting she's a better person
She’s won the nation over and been crowned Queen of the Jungle.
But it hasn’t been that easy for Vicky Pattison to leave the demons of her past behind.
The I’m A Celeb winner and former Geordie Shore star has admitted that she visited therapists to help move on after years of boozing, swearing and getting in trouble with the police.
Vicky was on This Morning to chat about her plans for the future but she got a surprise when therapist couple Nic and Eva Speakman appeared on the show via video link.
She quickly became tearful and admitted that she’d worked with the Speakmans in the past, saying they had changed her life.
Vicky emotionally recalled the moment they helped her realise the way she was acting was a choice – and she had the power to become a better person.
‘If you get told that you’re a bad person enough, you believe it. But you two were the first people to sit me down and tell me that I’m not a bad person.’
Eva then congratulated Vicky on her I’m A Celeb win and said the public had finally seen the ‘real’ Vicky: ‘She’s an amazing girl. Vicky had to realise she’s a remarkable person, she has a heart of gold.’
Vicky added that she was definitely a changed women, but ‘still me’ and is looking forward to heading home to see her family and work out what’s next, now that she’s the new nation’s sweetheart.
