Last night Taylor Swift brought Lisa Kudrow out on stage for an incredible duet of Friends' 'Smelly Cat', and it was hilarious!

It was a song that shaped the 90s. An anthem that managed to touch the souls of countless people. A tune so honest it defined what it means to be a human being, so much so some were even calling it ‘the symphony of God’.

No, not Club Tropicana– c’mon people that was the 80s. We’re obviously talking about Phoebe Buffay of Friends and the breath-taking Smelly Cat!

And the fabulous news is, Smelly Cat was performed by actress Lisa Kudrow last night to an audience of roughly 18,000 people at the Staples Centre in LA.

‘But how did this majestic event happen?!’, we hear you ask. Well, kind people, Taylor Swift is how it happened…

The 25-year-old singer invited a special guest with her on stage during the LA leg of her 1989 world tour. The special guest was, of course, 52-year-old Lisa. The pair then went on to rift, harmonise and make damn sweet Smelly Cat music in an extremely moving duet.

And Lisa certainly enjoyed the jam sesh, as she took to Twitter to tweet ‘So @taylorswift13 is THE best person I’ve ever met. That was fun. Thank’s Taylor’.

Inevitably, the people of Twitter are touchingly moved by the revival of a song that has impacted so many. The general reaction speaks miles…

In fact, this treasured moment is even more sacred than we could have possibly imagined-as it is very unlikely to happen again. Lisa had previously admitted that despite countless fans asking for renditions of Smelly Cat not only had she refused, but also said she hadn’t ‘picked up a guitar since we finished the show’.

Anyway, as important as this all is….can someone PLEASE tell Joey that Christmas will be snowy?!
