This Hollywood star looks like a completely different person after a dabble with some fake tan and hair dye…

Double take! On a normal day, she sports porcelain skin and a white blonde crop, but actress Tilda Swinton had an image overhaul for her latest role, making her unrecognisable.

The Chronicles of Narnia star has transformed her signature androgynous look into a make-up wearing magazine editor using a ‘tandoori’ tan, a wig and eyebrow tinting.

The shocking transformation was showcased in teasers for the 54 year old’s upcoming film, Trainwreck, in which she plays the role of Dianna, a magazine editor.

And Tilda, who became the new face of Nars last October, has admitted she was ‘unrecognisable’ in the role.

‘I’m delighted to say that I’m unrecognisable,’ she confessed. ‘I don’t know whether one would really want to be recognisable in this role.’

She added: ‘It’s a lot of makeup and a kind of tandoori tan and a wig, and that’s all it takes.’

But it’s not the first time Tilda has made a mark with her transformations for roles. Her quirky look, including bright blue contact lenses and a huge grey wig, for her role as Madame D in last year’s film The Grand Budapest Hotel also got people talking.

In other film news, Tilda is set to star as Ancient One in Marvel Comics’ Dr Strange alongside Benedict Cumberbatch. Who is being lined up to play the Tibetan mystic who serves as the superhero’s mentor.

Meanwhile, the actress is dating her former Narnia co-star Sandro Kopp after meeting on the set of the film in 2005.

The star is believed to still be married to playwright John Byrne, who is the father of her 18-year-old twins Honour and Xavier. While Tilda’s new beau is 17 years her junior, her husband is 20 years older than the actress.
