We've discovered the secret behind her youthful appearance
Amanda Holden has always looked fabulous for her age. In fact at 44, her youthful looks could be the envy of those more than 10 years younger.
This week we’ve been in awe of how gorgeous she looks and how flawless her skin on This Morning is so we found out her secret.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge is usually open about what she has done to maintain her youthful appearance and recently admitted that she’d ditched the Botox, after welcoming her second daughter Hollie in 2012, in favour of a special kind of facial.
‘Along the lines of Kylie when she had cancer, I gave it up after Hollie. For the last three years I haven’t bothered,’ she revealed.
‘Instead I’ve been having Collagen Wave facials by a wonderful lady called Nilam Patel. It’s done amazing things to my face.’
Every morning she’s turned up for the This Morning this week and Amanda’s glow has been even more youthful and there wasn’t one wrinkle in sight!
And it’s got the world of Twitter asking questions:
So, could she have had some work done to get herself ready for being seen in HD on live TV? We got in touch with an expert at Harley Street Skin Clinic to ask his opinion.
Stephen Handisides said: ‘It looks to me like Amanda Holden has had Botulinum injections for quite some time as she has no wrinkles on her forehead and has almost an appearance of a porcelain doll! She has had some cheek volumisation with dermal fillers to plump up her cheeks and possibly a combination treatment with a thread lift that would give her more definition around her chin.’
However a spokesperson for Amanda previously told us: ‘Amanda’s always been really open about what she has/hasn’t done surgically. As she’s said in many interviews she used to do Botox but hasn’t touched it in years and the only treatments she now has are Collagen Waves. She has not had dermal fillers or thread lift treatments as suggested.’
We think Amanda looks stunning with or without surgery, and while it’s something she certainly doesn’t need we respect the fact that she can be open about what she has had done in the past.
