We recap the boys who failed to make it through the Six Chair Challenge - and ask which one might replace departed Tom Bleasby?

Following his shock decision to leave The X Factor, there exists a great big hole Tom lyby-shaped hole in Nick Grimshaw‘s boys category ahead of this weekend’s Judges’ Houses stage – and we can’t help wondering who will fill it?

Tom shocked everyone by announcing that he’d quit the show yesterday, citing ‘personal reasons’ for his decision – just days after we watched him make it though the gruelling Six Chair Challenge to secure a spot at Nick’s home.

But, as The X Factor dream comes to an end for Tom, it might just be about to be reignited for one of the four boys who reached Bootcamp but failed to make it through.

X Factor bosses are set to decide what will happen to Nick’s category and whether he’ll bring back another contestant, and are expected to confirm the plan of action in the coming days – ahead of Judges’ Houses taking place this Friday.

So, take a moment to remind yourself of the other contestants in Nick category – and see if you can make up your mind which one deserves a second chance in place of Tom…

The 24-year-old (and his incredible bejewlled cape) blew both the audience and the judges away with his rendition of Christina Aguilera, Mia, Lil’ Kim and Missy Elliot’s version of Lady Marmalade, gaining him a spot in the Six Chair Challenge – until Josh Daniel came along and nudged him out.

Nathanael Landskroner

The 16-year-old sweetie’s emotional but shakey performance of Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing won him a seat, but he was later swapped out for Ben Clark.

Jamie Eldridge

Jamie’s heartfelt version of The New Radicals’ hit Get What You Give hit the right notes with boys judge Nick – until Ollie Marland came along and stole his chair from him.

Ollie Marland

But alas, poor Ollie couldn’t hang on to his chair either! We’re still tingling from his performance of Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor’s song Marvin Gaye, but he was switched right at the end for Che Chesterton.

Mason Noise

After THAT run-in with Simon Cowell (in which the X Factor boss called him an ‘ar*ehole’) we cant imagine it somehow, but you never know…
