Beyoncé (AKA Queen of the Universe) appears on the cover of Vogue's September Issue looking all kinds of awesome
Just when we were thinking we hadn’t heard much from Beyoncé lately, BLAM! The superstar goes and reminds us exactly why we love her so with an incredible cover shoot for Vogue magazine.
Every woman’s girl crush appears on the front of the American mag’s all-important September issue looking all kinds of awesome.
The cover shot shows Mrs Jay Z looking all regal (and wet haired – perhaps the blowdryer was broken?) in a blush-coloured floral dress with a spangly red coat over one shoulder.
‘Just B,’ reads the headline, followed with: ‘Beyoncé and the art of world domination.’
Like we didn’t already know that the singer is Queen of the Universe.
Additional shots – taken, along with the cover picture, by top photographer Mario Testino – show Beyoncé being her usual hot-as-you-like self.
One bootylicious snap shows her from behind, wearing a rather sexy long lace gown.
Another shot – this one in black and white – shows Bey flashing a bit of cleavage in a Stella McCartney dress.
Revealing Bey as their latest cover star, Vogue posted on Instagram: ‘There’s only one September Issue, and there’s only one @beyonce.’
In the accompanying interview, the iconic mag explores the wonder that is Beyoncé, examining her cultural impact and influence on the current generation.
Designer Marc Jacobs – the man behind the dress Bey wears on the magazine’s cover – explains: ‘The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality.’
Meanwhile, British designer Stella McCartney says: ‘[Beyoncé’s] appeal crosses art forms, genders, and generations.’
