Rapper 50 Cents has put his mansion up for rent to raise funds after filing for bankruptcy - interested?
If you’re heading Stateside anytime soon and in need of a place to stay, you could consider renting out 50 Cent‘s mansion.
Yes, you read that right! The rapper is putting his huge Connecticut pad up for rent to try and raise some cash after filing for bankruptcy last month.
As you’d expect from the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ star, the home has a touch (OK, a load) of the ridiculously extravagant about it.
The swanky house boasts 21 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms – more than enough to accommodate you, your boyfriend/girlfriend, your BFFs, their partners, your mum, your dad, your Granny Mabel, your auntie who’s not really your auntie, and anyone else you may happen to pick up along the way.
There’s also nine kitchens, a casino, a night club, a movie theatre, a swimming pool, a meeting room (complete with the rapper’s records lining the walls), a games room, a personal gym, and an indoor and outdoor basketball court. Sure there is.
Applying for bankruptcy last month, Fiddy revealed that the grand pile of bricks costs him $72,000 (roughly £46,000) a MONTH to maintain. Which is admittedly a little more than we usually pay in rent.
That is in on top of a further $36,000 (£23,000) the star spends in additional expenses every month.
The star applied for bankruptcy in the wake of being ordered to pay $5 million to a woman for invasion of privacy after he published a sex tape featuring her on his website.
Later that month, Fiddy was ordered to pay a further $2 million to the woman, bringing the total to a whopping $7 million – around £4.5 million.
