See how the actress's looks have developed over the years
Letitia Dean is one of the country’s most famous faces thanks to her on-off role as Sharon Watts in EastEnders.
But the actress – born on 14 November 1967 – has gone through quite a transformation since she first appeared as the feisty Albert Square girl in 1985.
As the first photo in our gallery shows, Letitia was a pretty 17-year-old when she landed the part of Sharon.
Filming scenes for the soap’s first few episodes on 3 December 1984, she showcases a then-fashionable blonde perm and youthful frosted lipstick while cuddling on-screen pet poodle Roly.
By the time she appears in pantomime in 1986, Letitia has toned down her look a little, pairing a mousy ‘do with metallic-look make-up.
In 1995, she arrives at the National Television Awards looking totally different with copper curls. However, she’s reverted back to fair hair by the time she appears on The Bill in 1997.
Letitia clearly feels comfortable with bright locks. She keeps this hue throughout the next couple of decades, although she briefly adds brown lowlights in 2005.
However, the Hertfordshire-born star has changed the length of her mane.
She tries a blunt bob in 1990, a short crop for 1999’s Judging Amy, a shoulder-length cut in 2002 and chest-skimming ringlets in 2009, among other looks.
When it comes to her make-up, Letitia isn’t afraid to experiment.
Throughout the 90s, she appears to be a fan of coral lipstick shades. However, she’s also worked plum colours, girlie glosses and romantic pinks.
On her eyes, she’s stepped out with silver shadow and heavy liner and she’s given various bronzer and blusher techniques a go.
Despite Letitia revamping her look over the years, she’s still totally recognisable as the Sharon Watts we took to our hearts way back in 1985.
