Model is unrecognisable in Shave Or Style snap by Rankin
Abbey Clancy has taken part in a dramatic new Shave Or Style campaign for Macmillan Cancer Support.
In a photo taken by celebrity snapper Rankin, the pretty model looks very different with a choppy dark bob hairstyle and sultry eye make-up.
‘I knew I wanted to try something really different that people wouldn’t immediately recognise as “me”,’ reveals Abbey.
‘It was so much fun to experiment and trial a new style for the day, made even better by texting STYLE to 70550 to help Macmillan ensure that no one faces cancer alone.’
TV presenter Gethin Jones and singer Nina Nesbitt were also transformed for the initiative which calls on the public to shave their head or sport a new ‘do to help those affected by cancer.
Rankin loved getting experimental with the stars.
‘The Shave Or Style shoot for Macmillan really gave me the chance to challenge what people expect from Abbey, Nina and Gethin,’ he says.
‘It was great fun but it’s important to remember that at the end of the shoot, all three people left as they arrived.
‘Yet for those affected by cancer – long standing changes to appearance such as hair loss are a day to day reality.’
