Get your mitts on Kate Middleton’s latest high street hit - and it’s NOT maternity wear!

Kate Middleton‘s never been shy of a savvy shopping purchase or two – and her latest high street hit is no exception.

The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted at Topshop‘s flagship store on Oxford Street last week and now – thanks to some secret in-store squirrels – we can ALL take a sneak peek inside her shopping bag.

Kate’s dress – which goes by the name Deirdre – is less frumpy than it sounds and costs just £37.

Although it features a handy elasticated waistband, the frock isn’t part of Topshop‘s maternity collection – instead coming from its Lovestruck concession.

Which means even non-pregnant shoppers can get their mitts on it!

Kate has stuck faithfully to empire-line dresses throughout her pregnancy a wise move bearing in mind that the waistband will expand with her bump.

The Duchess also opts for V-neck styles to draw the eye upwards, usually favouring ditsy prints and burgundy and emerald green hues.

This soft pastel frock is more feminine than Kate‘s recent looks. With rumours escalating that she is expecting a girl, perhaps the Duchess is hinting at her girlier side. Or maybe she just likes the dress!

Whatever her style choices, it’s good to see the ‘discount Duchess’ hasn’t lost her eye for a bargain – she even recycled her chocolate brown Hobbs coat for a royal visit to Grimsby earlier in the week.

Best of all. Kate’s Lovestruck dress is still available to buy here – and it comes in a very regal purple hue too.

Be sure to shop fast, before the Kate effect kicks in!
