MOVE over Kate Moss. There’s a new Kate on the block. The fashion world went into meltdown last night as Katie Price took to the stage for her first turn as a high fashion catwalk model.

Never underestimate the Pricey – we almost choked on our Fuji water when the mum-of-five surprised everyone by stepping out onto the catwalk dressed as… a man.

Gone were the big boobs, the big hair, in place of a sophisticated slicked back hair-do showing off her striking features to the max.

It’s a move that was reminiscent of Katie’s one-time rival Victoria Beckham when she appeared to swap her footballers’ wives style big hair and boobs for a smaller set and more tamed locks as she ventured into the fashion world.

The reaction from the audience as we sat on the FROW was priceless.
When Katie coyly stepped onto the catwalk and stood by the Fashion for Relief – Fashion Against Ebola board, absolutely no-one recognised her.

It was only till I shouted ‘OMG. It’s Katie Price‘ that everyone caught on, and the crowd went crazy. Katie was LOVING the reaction at London’s Somerset house.

Katie
hands down got the biggest cheer as she rocked her androgynous look, that oozed glamour, sex appeal and class, without her having to flash the trademark boobs that have made her millions.

So why is it only now that Katie has finally got her recognition in the fashion world?

Perhaps because she’s ditched the big boobs, big hair, big eyelashes for a stripped back look that puts her up there with the other leading models showing off a cleaner more classy look.

Organisers backstage told Now: ‘Katie was true pro on the catwalk. Naomi Campbell [who organised the event] was so impressed, and loved working with her. It could be the start of something new for Katie. She was a natural.’

Katie said afterwards: ‘I was totally up for the team giving me a new different look for the catwalk.
It was a great charity event to be involved in and I’m glad I could lend my support.’

The extraordinary night, to raise money for the treatment and prevention of Ebola, was packed with entertainment.

Model Jourdan Dunn opened the show, to massive cheers, then came the likes of celebrities Caroline Flack, Sarah Jane Crawford, legend herself Naomi Campbell, and iconic designer Vivienne Westwood.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon got a massive roar when she shimmied down the catwalk with a hilarious Bruno Tonioli – the Strictly judge gave the audience more than we bargained for with a striptease.

The Duchess of York, Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson, was a novelty and a very welcome addition to the line-up as she clung onto catwalk Queen Naomi for a giggle on the night.

Jourdan Dunn closed the show holding hands with her mentor Naomi as they wrapped up a magnificent show.

But one thing’s for sure, The Price was right on the night.
