The Hollywood beauty is already getting the Glee boys all excited

Anne Hathaway is joining the Glee cast to play Kurt‘s lesbian aunt.

The Hollywood beauty revealed her interest in the role on TV talk show Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in November last year.

Now it seems her wish has been granted courtesy of co-creator and writer Ryan Murphy, who met the star at the Golden Globe Awards last night.

‘She walked by our table and I said, “Do you really want to do it?” And she said, “I do.” And I said, “OK, we’re gonna do it”,’ Ryan tells Access Hollywood.

‘I have to talk to Anne about what she wants to sing. I’m sure she has ideas. I’m excited about that.’

Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt in the show, is chuffed at the news of his new A-list co-star.

‘She wants to do You’re Not Alone from In The Woods, which I’m all for,’ he says.

‘I’m so excited. I love her and I worship her.’

Chord Overstreet, who plays McKinley High football star Sam Evans, is also excited about Anne‘s cameo.

‘I’m in love with Anne Hathaway,’ he admits.

‘That’s one woman that I would love to marry…

‘I’m kidding cause that would be really awkward if she comes on the show and she finds out that I already said that.’
