The boys continue to make their mark in America

Nickelodeon has confirmed that One Direction are getting their own show on the kids’ TV channel.

The boys, who recently finished supporting Big Time Rush on tour, have proved hugely popular during their time across the pond and are already booked to perform at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards later this month.

‘The rumors are true, our live-action slate does include a development project for @onedirection. Welcome to the family!’ Tweets Nickelodeon.

Louis Tomlinson, 20, Zayn Malik, 19, plus Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, all 18, made their debut on the small screen last month when they landed a guest role on hit show iCarly

Liam proved that, despite the hype surrounding the band, he’s remained humble and is flattered by the loyalty of One Directioners.

‘You know what you guys make me so happy,’ Tweets Liam.

‘I was just thinking about all
the stuff I’ve gt to do over the past year and I can’t believe …

‘How lucky I am its been so amazing being in 1D and its all thanks to you guys so thank you so much 🙂 lots of love from … Me :).’
