Judge Gary Barlow is still upset that Carolynne Poole was voted off the programme

Gary Barlow reportedly attended crisis talks with X Factor bosses yesterday after storming off Sunday night’s show when his act Carolynne Poole was voted out.

The judge, 41, was furious that Louis Walsh controversially took the panel’s decision to deadlock after initially choosing to save Carolynne over Essex boy Rylan Clark.

Gary is fiercely proud of his reputation and signed up for the show because he wanted to nurture genuine talent,’ says an insider.

‘The reason he wanted to be on it was to put a stop to these tricks and to stop insulting the artists and viewers.’

Over 3000 viewers of the ITV show complained to Ofcom after a producer was seen whispering to Louis, 60, while Carolynne was still in the middle of her sing-off performance.

Bosses have strongly denied accusations of a fix, saying that it’s commonplace for producers to speak to judges throughout the show.

‘[Gary‘s] issued an ultimatum,’ the source tells The Sun.

‘If this ever happens again, he is off. No questions asked.’
