The duo lose out in public vote to Kye Sones
MK1 singers Simeon Dixon, 24, and Charlie Rundle, 19, have been voted off The X Factor after the judges reached deadlock tonight.
Host Dermot O’Leary told the talented duo that they’d received the fewest public votes – which came as a big shock to Tulisa Contostavlos, who desperately wanted the pair to stay on the show.
Louis Walsh believes MK1 deserve a record deal but they’ll have to wait and see.
Simeon has studied music industry management, just in case his career as a perfomer doesn’t pan out.
‘We like to subvert genres – we’ve been inspired by the 1940s recently,’ he says.
And Charlie plans to do more writing now they’ve been booted off the talent contest.
‘I’m a songwriter and was asked to write for Fazer,’ she tells us, ‘but I had to say no because of X Factor.’
