Mark doesn't want a repetitive routine

Mark Wright has revealed that he’s turned down offers to star in soaps.

The former TOWIE star, who’s engaged to ex-Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, isn’t keen on the repetitive routine of filming a serial drama.

I’ve been asked to join two big soaps,’ Mark, 27, revealed just before his girl left Corrie.

But I see how long the hours are that Michelle works and sticking to one thing day after day is not really my cup of tea.’

Mark has instead focused on presenting, with ventures including a Club Classics radio show on Heart FM and his own TV series Party Wright Around The World which aired earlier this year.

But despite taking a different path to Michelle, Mark still exchanges careers advice with his fiancée.

When I was away filming [my TV show] I was always asking Michelle questions,’ Mark tells The Sun.

We support each other so much. We’re a proper couple who want the best for each other.

I want the best for her work and she asks for my advice – she rings me when she’s done a great scene. She does the same for me.’
