After all that training, they're already going home
Nadia Sawalha and Angela Rippon are the first celebrities to be voted off Dancing On Ice.
Ex-EastEnders actress Nadia and TV presenter Angela ended up in the skate-off with children’s TV presenter Laura Hamilton, who was saved by the public.
‘I’m going to miss everybody but what I’m most disappointed about is my partner Mark Hanretty is the most beautiful skater, and all the people at home aren’t going to see how beautiful he is,’ said Nadia, 46.
At 66, former newsreader Angela was the oldest contestant on the show.
‘I’m gutted. I’ve had a wonderful time learning to skate with the world-class teachers we’ve had,’ she said.
‘I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who voted for us, I feel like I’ve let them all down.’
The second set of celebrities will dance for the remaining places in the final 12 next week.
