Singer in huge demand

Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle has been invited to appear on Oprah Winfrey’s chat show.

On Saturday, the 48-year-old impressed judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream from musical Les Miserables.

Now Susan‘s performance – which has already had 20 million views on YouTube – has been seen by Oprah, 55.

‘She has had an offer from Oprah to do her show,’ confirms Simon, 49.

‘If she went on Oprah I think there’s every chance Susan will have the No 1 album in America.’

Susan, who appeared on Good Morning America via satellite link yesterday, is keen to accept the invite.

‘Wow! Put me down for it. I’m shaking!’ she says.

But fellow judge Amanda, 38, doesn’t want her to have a Hollywood makeover.

‘I won’t let Simon make her go to his dentist and I certainly won’t be letting her go to his hairdresser,’ she tells The Sun.

‘I think she needs to stay exactly as she is because that’s the reason we love her. The minute we spoil her by turning her into a glamourpuss is going to be when it’s spoilt.’
