The X Factor contestants are back on the show thanks to a chance event and an intervention from Louis Walsh

Union J were formed out of the remains of Triple J on The X Factor.

Jaymi Hensley, 22, with George Shelley, 19, JJ Hamblet, 24, and Josh Cuthbert, 20, are back on the show thanks to a chance event and an intervention from Louis Walsh.

Me, JJ and Josh entered as Triple J – but didn’t make it through boot camp,’ Jaymi tells us.

‘Then there was a problem with Rough Copy‘s visas.

Louis told us we had George, a solo artist, to join us.’

The boys are particularly popular with the ladies – including members of their own families.

‘We have got a girl band of mums supporting us,’ says Jaymi.

My sister cried so much during auditions, she passed out!

‘All the nans like Josh.

‘We are such mummy’s boys.

‘If we had a big party with loads of models, our mums would be there, putting clothes on all the models.’
