Corrie scoops 9 awards but Hollyoaks is Best Soap
The stunning actress, 26, scooped the award for the 6th year running, just days before her character Tina McIntyre is killed off.
Michelle‘s win was one of many for Corrie, who scooped a total of nine awards.
The soap won several for the emotional story of Hayley Cropper‘s cancer, including Best Actor and Best Actress for David Neilson and Julie Hesmondhalgh (Roy and Hayley Cropper) and Best Single Episode for Hayley‘s death.
But it was Hollyoaks that triumphed in the Best Soap category for the first time in the event’s history.
The Channel 4 soap’s heartthrob star Danny Mac also picked up Sexiest Male for the second year in a row.
