The Duchess of Cambridge's barnet appears not to be all natural
Kate Middleton appeared to have worn extensions to add volume to her hairdo at a charity event last night.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who was standing in for Prince Charles at the In Kind Direct dinner, wore her hair clipped back, with loose curls tumbling onto her shoulders.
But a visible line on the side of Kate‘s scalp suggested she’d had a little boost at the sides.
‘Kate Middleton‘s hair looks really natural and to achieve this look most people would need to use temporary, virtually invisible, strip hair extensions,’ Vicky Demetriou from London hair salon Daniel Hersheson tells MailOnline.
Kate, 29, paired her big ‘do with an elegant aqua strappy Temperley gown as she took the place of her father-in-law for her first Royal engagement without husband Prince William, 29.
Prince Charles, 62, had been called away on a trip to Riyadh to present condolences to the Saudi Royal Family after the death of the country’s Crown Prince.
‘The Duchess of Cambridge was delighted to be able to step in for her father-in-law, The Prince of Wales, to celebrate the work of In Kind Direct at the dinner,’ says a St James’s Palace spokesman.
Update: It’s now been revealed that Kate has a scar on her scalp.
