The singer won't be working with Nivea again

Rihanna has been slammed for being too risqué to promote Nivea‘s products.

The singer became one of the company’s faces in a £1 million deal last year and Nivea sponsored her Loud tour – but the chief executive of its parent company Beiersdorf thinks working with Ri-Ri was a bad idea.

‘The advert starring Rihanna was a no-go. I do not understand how Nivea can be brought into association with her,’ Stefan Heidenreich tells German newspaper Die Welt.

Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.’

Rihanna, 24, was thrilled when it was first announced that she’d be fronting Nivea‘s campaign, saying: ‘I’m excited to share it with my fans across the world’.

But it seems she’s now had a change of heart – the Bajan star took to Twitter yesterday to share a cheeky photo of Stefan with her 23,882,027 followers.

‘No caption necessary,’ she wrote.
