Find out what the A-list relied on to get them red carpet-ready for the Golden Globes 2015

Hoorah! Awards season has officially started and apart from oohing and ahhing over all the frocks that we’ll never be able to afford, it marks the beginning of our full-on red carpet beauty obsesh.

This is when we get to see the A-list at their very best and exciting new beauty trends emerge, that we can actually try out ourselves. Yay! Hello next night out look 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6!!!

But how do these dastardly stars get themselves looking so gloriously hot-to-trot? From glowing skin to perfectly coloured pouts, we become totally fixated on the celebrity beauty buys and inevitably spend way way too much on them! #Oops #BeautyBankruptcy

It’s worth it though, because we are, you are, and all that L’Oreal shazz.

After pouring over all the pics, the 2015 Golden Globes kick off did not disappoint and we’re bringing you the complete rundown of all our favourite looks and better yet the actual prods that the celebrities used. Wahey!

Kate Hudson looked glowing in her body-hugging white dress, so it was important that her beauty regime was tip-top. She instagrammed a pic showing the skincare entourage that helped her to look so glowy and we spied a beauty insider favourite, in the form of Dr Bronner’s Magic Soap, which you can buy from Ocado for only £5.99. Result!

Sienna Miller kept it natural by pairing her tousled bob with a bronzed beauty look and she chose the aptly named lip shade Sexy Sienna, from A-list loved brand Charlotte Tilbury.

Matte Revolution Lipstick in Sexy Sienna retails at £23. (

Orange Is The New Black star Taylor Schilling kept to theme and worked a tangerine-toned lip colour.

Makeup Artist: Tina Turnbow said, ‘The inspiration for Taylor’s look was a younger, modern take on Grace Kelly. I wanted to play up her bone structure, her skin and her natural beauty so we went with a clean eye, bold brow and a crisp orange red lip to clash with the scarlet shade of her Ralph Lauren gown.’

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Red Square, £18

We have fallen in love with Jessica Chastain‘s cheek colour and the blush that she used has now shot to the top of our wishlist. It is pricey, but seriously worth splurging on, as it gives you a naturally beautiful, yet barely-there flush, that’s quite frankly worth selling your mum for.

YSL Blush Volupté N°8, £32

Our girl crush on Amal Clooney is growing like wildfire and she looked simply stunning stood next to old Cloons. Leading Make Up Artist Charlotte Tilbury told us, ‘To bring out the golden highlights in Amal’s eyes I applied the pop shade from my Luxury Palette In The Dolce Vita, £38, across the lids.’

Finally we got some serious nail envy in the form of Downtown Abbey star Laura Carmichael, as she wowed us with her metallic silver mani, painted with Essie’s No Place Like Chrome, £10.

Ahhh awards season we love you! Roll on the next one, our beauty eyes are waiting…
