Want to show your support for Bruce Jenner? Here's how! #PaintYourNailsForBruce

This weekend Bruce Jenner confessed all about his transgender journey and it was very emotional, to say the least.

But now your Twitter, Instagram and Facebook feeds are about to be flooded with pics and messages supporting Bruce Jenner.

A new wave of pics have been posted of people painting their nails and using the hashtag #PaintYourNailsForBruce and it’s actually started trending!

But why?

Since Bruce was interviewed by Diane Sawyer on American abc news, where he admitted to Sawyer that he wants to live life as a woman, a flood of support has flown in.

Bruce noted that, ‘I can’t wait to be able to have my nail polish on long enough that it actually chips off.’

Well to be honest Bruce that’s actually something us girls try to avoid, but we get what you mean!

To show support for his courageous admittion, fellow celebs and fans have taken to Twitter and other social media platforms, posting pics of their painted nails.

So here at Now, we thought we’d show our support too and give Bruce Jenner some nail colour inspo for when he wants to show off his newly polished nails.

Well if you’re gonna step out with a freshly painted mani, make sure it’s totally on trend yah!

We wonder if he’ll get inspo from Kendall and Kylie Jenner? Or if Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian will be on hand to give their ultimate at home nail painting advice.

Bruce, here’s our top 5 tips to getting perfectly painted nails:

1. Buff your nails to increase shine and smooth ridges.

2. Apply a base coat to stop any colour dyeing your nails.

3. Use two thin coats of polish rather than one thick one.

4. Apply a top coat to seal.

5. Apply cuticle oil to soften the nail bed and encourage growth.

If you’re not up for chipping nails like Bruce and would rather keep your mani in check for longer, then check out our ten day trial of the top non chip polishes here.
