In a shot posted to Instagram yesterday, the singer – who’s engaged to Perrie Edwards, 20, from Little Mix – can be seen soaking his famous quiff in the sink of a bathroom.

‘Not the most conventional way to wash your hair Zayn! 1DHQ x,’ read the caption on the boys’ official account.

It’s not the first time a snap of the 20-year-old star grooming himself has been uploaded for fans – the band shared one of Zayn scrubbing his gnashers last week.

‘Pre Melbourne show teeth clean… hygiene comes first 1DHQ x,‘ they posted alongside the image.
