Christian Grey actor knows he can do much, much more

Jamie Dornan thinks that his past as a model may have negatively affected his acting career.

The Irish star, who recently landed the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie, was hugely successful in modelling but believes there’s a prejudice against models becoming actors.

There’s a massive stigma attached to having modelled before,’ says Jamie, 31.

You spend a few years as a model, leaning against walls and looking depressed while someone takes photographs of you, but God forbid you can also act.’

Jamie’s determined to prove the critics wrong though.

I’m not saying that I’m a good actor, not for a second,’ he tells The Sun.

But this idea that there’s no way you can do both – well it’s always going to bother me and it’s something I’m always going to fight against.’
