Actress worried he'll want to bring in a younger model

Amanda Holden is said to be worried Simon Cowell may want to replace her on Britain’s Got Talent.

‘I said to Simon: “If you ever wheel in anyone younger than me, I’ll kill you!” I’d rather leave the show,’ the actress says.

But despite assurances that Amanda, 37, will remain on the judging panel for the new series in the spring, friends say she’s concerned.

Amanda loves being the sexy centre of attention,’ a close friend tells Now. ‘She really couldn’t handle it if another female judge joined.’

She’s set to marry her record executive fiancé Chris Hughes, 35, on 11 December with their 2-year-old daughter Lexi as a bridesmaid.

Amanda’s very ambitious,’ the friend adds. ‘Being replaced as a judge or forced to compete with someone younger on Britain’s Got Talent would be a major blow.’
