What did you make of Amanda's dress?
When it comes to style, Amanda Holden is pretty consistent. Just one look at her Instagram page and you’ll have instant wardrobe envy.
But as the second round of live Britain’s Got Talent finals kicked off on Tuesday night, the telly presenter caused an internet meltdown when she opted for a completely see-through dress.
Taking to the stage alongside fellow judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, the 47-year-old stole the limelight in a sheer tiered frock which showed off her black strapless bra and high-waisted knickers underneath.
Completing her look with a slick ponytail and a seriously smoky eye, we reckon Amanda looked amazing!
But it seems as though some viewers weren’t so keen on the look, as one person wrote on Twitter: ‘This is supposed to a family show! Amanda Holdens’ dress or Simon Cowell’s unbuttoned shirt are not appropriate attire, and David Walliams saying ar*e last night is not good enough!’
A second joked: ‘I think wardrobe forgot half of Amanda’s dress!’
‘I see Amanda has forgotten her dress again’, agreed a third.
While a fourth went on a right ol’ rant: ‘Amanda Holden’s dress tonight… I’m sorry @AmandaHolden but this is a family show. You have a fabulous figure and I love your personality too but there’s just no need for those big pants! Shame as the top half was stunning! #BritainsGotTalent’.
Although obviously loads of viewers thought the star looked incredible as always, as one hit back: ‘Take no notice of the critics saying your dress it too revealing Amanda there just jealous you work hard to look that good and if you got it flaunt it and you defiantly got it girl x’.
While a second agreed: ‘Loved your outfit.. you looked stunning x’.
Meanwhile, Amanda’s dress wasn’t the only thing causing drama on BGT as a stage invader stormed onto the judging panel and slammed three of the red buzzers.
The judges were left shaken when the intruder interrupted their critique of Magus Utopia’s act, as Amanda screamed in fright while Simon even swore. Yikes!
