Singer could bag 3 gongs at NME Awards
Amy Winehouse has been nominated for a special gong at the NME Awards – Villain Of The Year.
The troubled singer will go head-to-head with Tony Blair, George W Bush, Gordon Brown and Johnny Borrell for the prestigious gong – and insiders reckon she might win.
Amy, 24, has been in a series of drug-fuelled scrapes over the last 12 months, including a bust-up with hubby Blake Fielder-Civil which left them both bloody and bruised.
Now she’s finally in rehab after appearing to smoke crack at a house party.
The NME Awards – voted for by the public – have also nominated Amy for Worst Dressed and Best Solo Artist.
The glitzy ceremony is due to take place in London’s Docklands on 28 February.
Meanwhile, the beehived diva is said to be taking comfort from Marilyn Monroe films while trying to beat her demons at London’s Capio Nightingale hospital.
