Holly Willoughby gave birth to her third child on Monday night
Holly Willoughby has really nailed this whole giving birth lark.
Just over 12 hours after giving birth to her third child Chester on Monday night, hard-working This Morning‘s Holly spoke via a live phone link with co-host Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden, to share her happy news with viewers.
Holly, who already has Harry, five, and Belle, three, with TV producer husband Dan Baldwin said: ‘It was very different from my other two (births) – I had a water birth which I never thought I’d do and that was amazing.
‘And he was a really big boy – 8lbs 12oz! But he’s perfect. He’s so delicious, I can’t stop looking at him.’
It wasn’t all smooth sailing for Holly though as she admitted to being in labour for the entire day:
‘I started having contractions at about 9am [yesterday morning] and they kind of lasted all day… and he arrived about 7.20pm.’
When asked about her interesting choice of baby name, Holly Willoughby admitted that Chester had been on the cards for quite some time.
‘It was a name we had for ages actually – when we had Harry, we were umming and ahhing over Chester or Harry… although they [Harry and Belle] met their brother today and Harry walked in and I said “his name is Chester” and Harry said “No, I want to call him Frank‘… so it might be Frank!” joked Holly.
The curvy blonde also explained that Chester was being ‘very good’ and that her and Dan were ‘just in that lovely baby bubble.’ Naww.
While we wish Holly every bit of happiness, we can’t wait to have her back on our screens ASAP!
