Can it be true?
For years we’ve looked up to Adele as the multi-platinum selling singer who you’d also go down the pub with on a Friday night, but that image could be under threat if latest reports are to believed.
Bruno Mars, who co-wrote her song All I Ask, labelled her a ‘diva’ when they worked together.
Say it ain’t so!
The Uptown Funk singer revealed his feelings during a chat on the US radio show Cubby & Carolina In the Morning.
‘She walks into the studio and she’s got all this attitude. She’s a diva. She’s like, “I don’t want to do this. I don’t like that,”’ the 31-year-old said.
But once everything started working out, the star apparently perked up.
He continued: ‘As soon as we hit a couple chords that she liked, we started rolling – and that’s where we got that song from.’
Hmm, that sounds more like a woman who knows what she wants in her work than a ‘diva’, Bruno Mars…
As they made more music together, the mum-of-one made more and more of an impression on the hitmaker.
Her added: ‘There was a moment when she was singing in the booth – I’m not exaggerating at all — and the water was vibrating. Like, you know, that scene in Jurassic Park?
‘She’s got some pipes on her, and she’s just a superstar.’
Could she REALLY be a diva? With a laugh like hers, we doubt it…
