X Factor judge Cheryl Cole performs 35-minute set at Grosvenor House Hotel

Cheryl Cole was paid a whopping £220,000 to perform at a private gig on Saturday night.

The Girls Aloud star played a 35-minute set for 300 guests at the Grosvenor House Hotel in central London after finishing filming on the first X Factor live show.

Cheryl, 27, belted out hits including Fight For This Love and Parachute while wearing a diamong-encrusted gold leotard.

‘It was a mad rush getting her from The X Factor set in west London to the venue in central London,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘But she made it on stage at the stroke of midnight and got a standing ovation at the end of her show.’

X Factor 2008 winner Alexandra Burke was Cheryl‘s support act.

The private gig was organised by Next in aid of Breast Cancer Care
