The BGT star and husband Chris Hughes are resuming family life

Amanda Holden has returned home with her newborn baby Hollie Rose.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge nearly died when she gave birth to her daughter 9 days ago, but she’s now ready to resume family life with husband Chris Hughes, 38, 6-year-old Lexi and their new arrival.

‘We are delighted that Amanda is now home,’ says a statement released through her agent.

‘She and Chris would like to thank everyone who was involved in her care for their amazing skill and dedication and also thank everyone who sent kind thoughts and wishes.’

Amanda, 40, had to undergo several blood transfusions to keep her alive during an emergency caesarean and spent 3 days in intensive care before she could meet little Hollie.

But she’s now left West London’s Queen Charlotte’s And Chelsea Hospital – and it sounds like she couldn’t be happier.

‘She is thrilled to be her home with her family,’ continues the statement.

Hollie is absolutely beautiful and Amanda and Chris are besotted with their girls.’
