The couple have separated

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have split after three years of marriage.

The couple – who are parents to son Flynn, 2 – broke up earlier this year but decided to keep the sad news under wraps until now.

‘In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months,’ a representative tells E! News.

‘Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.’

The couple started dating in 2007 and wed in an intimate ceremony when Miranda, 30, was three months pregnant with Flynn in 2010.

They were last seen together on the opening night of Orlando‘s Broadway play Romeo And Juliet last month, after which Miranda gushed about the 36-year-old’s performance.

‘For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week – I have so much respect for him,’ Miranda told Cosmopolitan.

‘We don’t run lines though. We keep that very separate. That would be like me asking him to teach me how to catwalk.’
