1D want to go their separate ways

Niall Horan has revealed that One Direction may take a break from the music scene.

The Irish singer says he and his band mates are keen to quit while they’re still successful and return in a few years with a more mature sound.

‘We want to be like Take That or Gary Barlow,’ Niall, 19, tells the Daily Mirror.

‘Take 10 years and then come back.’

Luckily for 1D fans, Niall, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik have no plans to go solo just yet.

The boys’ new single Little Things got its first UK airplay yesterday and they’re set to release their second album Take Me Home next month.

‘So good to see your comments on ‘Little Things’ we’re so happy that you like it. Can’t wait for you to hear the rest of the album .xx,’ Tweeted Harry, 18, last night.

Zayn, 19, wrote: ‘How you all liking ‘Little Things’ can’t wait for you guys to hear the rest of the album, know you’ll all love it! X.’
