Things are getting even darker for the distressed teenager
Coronation Street fans have spent the last few weeks watching 16-year-old Bethany Platt slowly be manipulated by sick, groomer Nathan Curtis, 32.
But on Friday night the horrifying scenes came to a head when Bethany was forced to go on a ‘date’ with Nathan’s mate, Neil Clifton which ended in her being raped by her boyfriend’s sick pal.
However, after the confused teenager – played by Lucy Fallon – tried to explain to Nathan that she’d ‘cheated’ on him, Bethany was left in turmoil when her boyfriend thanked her for sleeping with Neil.

And on Monday night’s episode, ITV viewers watched on in horror once again as Bethany desperately tried to tell someone the truth about her harrowing ordeal.
First seeking comfort in her her own home Bethany started crying as as she attempted to tell her mum, Sarah about the traumatic night but quickly brushed off her tears saying she missed her little brother Harry.
Taking to Twitter, fans urged the teen to spill the truth about what her boyfriend had done, with one writing: ‘Oh Bethany love TELL YOUR MUM #Corrie.’

But before she had to chance to open up, the teen was interrupted by an angry looking Nathan who swiftly took his girlfriend her back to his flat.
And watching the agonising scenes unfold, fans of the show took to Twitter to plead with the young girl to tell someone.

Unfortunately, it looks like this isn’t the last of Bethany’s pain as Chris Harper – who plays Nathan – recently confirmed that it’s ‘just the beginning’ for Bethany once Nathan brings her into his friend’s world.
Appearing on This Morning, the actor hinted that the teenager will be raped by multiple men after winning her trust and says Bethany is ‘entering a very dark place’ in future episodes.
