The couple were reunited over the weekend
The couple are currently juggling a long-distance relationship while Mark works as a presenter for Extra in the US, but they were finally reunited over the weekend and looked more loved-up than ever.
Heading back to Mark’s local Essex haunt, Sheesh Chigwell, the pair looked relaxed as they posed for a snap in the restaurant’s pub garden.
With a gene pool as good as theirs, it’s no surprise fans were branding them ‘couple goals’ shortly after the photo was posted on Instagram.
We totes agree.
Mark returned back to the UK last week to take on a job a little closer to home – hosting the Royal Wedding coverage from Windsor, for Extra viewers in America.
Reflecting on how ‘lucky’ the former TOWIE star feels to be doing his job, Mark, 31, wrote: ‘What a few days Iv had. Being lucky enough to have a job @extratv that sends me to one of the biggest events of our generation.
Today reminds me, Im so proud to be British. The thousands of fans from around the world that turned up to see our prince marry his princess. The British flags were flying high & the atmosphere was electric. I’m so grateful I could witness this day, a day I will never forget.’
While Mark was lucky to return home for a few days to cover Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, his long distance marriage to Michelle often comes under scrutiny.
But, last week Mark defended it and asked, ‘Why can’t it work?’
‘I think people are told and taught that long distance relationships can’t work,’ he said. ‘But why can’t they? Just because on paper they can’t work because people are used to being at home together every day of the week, but actually, as long as you see each other enough – why can’t it work?’
He also confessed that only seeing Michelle once every few weeks ‘keeps it fresh’.
‘We’re young and we’re both conquering our dreams,’ he added. ‘I’m out there trying to make something happen, and she’s around the world acting, and we’re still so in love and so happy – so it’s perfect.’
Whatever makes you happy!
