The star is determined to turn her life around
Daniella Westbrook has had to deal with her drug and alcohol issues in the public eye for decades, but in a final attempt to try to tackle personal demons, the star recently checked into a rehab.
In March the former EastEnders actress admitted herself into a treatment centre in Marbella after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage, having a cocaine relapse and contracting septicaemia within a few months.
But 43-year-old Daniella is determined to get herself back on track following her trauma, and has now opened up about her treatment in the rehabilitation facility in a heartbreaking social media post.
Taking to Instagram, the CBB star shared a photo of herself crying with her 12.8k followers, along with the caption: ‘Tears of sadness heartache & the reality of the s*** I’ve said and done to those I love has broken me today.
‘BUT I guess I needed to break in order to rebuild… #familyfirst #love4ever…’
How sad is that?
This isn’t the first time Daniella has given her fans an update on how she’s getting on at the treatment facility, as the star also recently showed off her healed face in another selfie.
The happy photo shows the star looking radiant along with the message: ‘Hello All, Well I’m feeling better and looking healthier amazing what facing your fears can do.. and my face is healing nicely too. Thanks for all your support. I’m getting daily reports sent through to me.’
The mum of two revealed she was checking back into rehab last month after claiming her appearance on Channel 5’s In Therapy opened up a lot of childhood memories which have haunted her ever since.
In a lengthy Instagram post, the star wrote: ‘The therapy show I did cost me a lot of heart ache painful childhood memories and trauma that the show didn’t fix.
‘Put that with a total lie and sham of a marriage the illness from botched bodies botching my health and a break up from the only man I ever loved and loosing a baby last year, I think it’s time I did this once and for all for myself my kids and my very small but close circle of friends [sic].’
Good to see Daniella is doing so well!
