Father-of-four David Beckham shares his dad tips to 'great parents' Kate Middleton and Prince William

David Beckham has been dishing out some helpful parenting advice to Kate Middleton and Prince William, after they announced they are having a sibling for one-year-old son Prince George.

The former England captain expressed his support for his Royal friends in an exclusive interview for ITV’s Lorraine, aired this morning.

And, as a father of four, let’s face it, Becks is bound to have a lot of handy tips for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are expecting their second baby next spring.

I’m so happy for them both because they’re such great parents and obviously to be great parents and to have the roles that they have, as important as they have, is really incredible,’ gushed David, 39.

I’m just happy they’re going to have another little one running around the house!’

So what’s the most important piece of advice he’s got for Kate and Wills?

Get some sleep because jumping from one child to two is a big step,’ joked David.

The global heartthrob who is dad to sons Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 11, Cruz, nine,and daughter Harper, three, also spoke of his admiration for the Royal couple.

Obviously William I’ve known for quite a few years, and William is such a great person, such a great dad. Catherine is exactly the same. She’s a great mum,’ praised the football legend.

He was speaking from New York Fashion Week where he was supporting wife Victoria Beckham with her Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

David and Prince William became friends while they were campaigning for London’s bid to hold the 2012 Olympics.

They remained close and David and (a then pregnant) Victoria were even invited to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s 2011 wedding.
