As bookies slash odds on Bobby Beale committing a festive murder, we look back at these memorable EastEnders Christmas moments

EastEnders fans, brace yourselves. The villain that is Bobby Beale could be about to strike again – and at CHRISTMAS of all times.

EastEnders’ Wellard and memorable TV dogs

Bookies have slashed their odds on young Bobby killing someone over the festive season, with long-suffering mum Jane tipped as the most likely victim. Run, Jane, run!

Yep, even though we’re still kind of reeling from when Bobby was unmasked as Lucy’s murderer in the live episode of Easties back in February, he’s already being tipped to do it again.

Coral have got 4-1 bets on Bobby – played oh so creepily by 13-year-old actor Eliot Carrington – doing away with Jane at Christmas and EastEnders fans have been reacting in interesting ways on Twitter…

Oh dear, sounds like fans want to give Bobby a long blimmin’ list of potential victims.

We’re seriously excited about what’s going to unfold over the festive season though, with soap boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins telling The Sun there’s going to be a ‘climactic, gut-wrenching Christmas for the Beales’.

Eek, we can hardly wait! But will it match up to THESE memorable EastEnders Christmas moments, we wonder?

Angie and Den’s divorce papers

Possibly one of the most iconic soap moments of all time took place when ‘Dirty’ Den shocked wife Ange by handing her their divorce papers on Christmas Day 1986. It was watched by a whopping 31 million viewers – wowzers.

Jamie dies in Sonia’s arms

Oh, how we sobbed when long-suffering Sonia finally got together with Jamie – only for him to get run over Martin in the 2002 festive episode.

Max and Stacey’s affair is exposed

2007 saw one of the juiciest storylines of recent years come to a head in explosive style. Stacey’s fling with Max – father of her boyfriend Bradley, no less – was revealed via a secret video recording played to the whole family – merry Christmas, everyone!

Mick finds out about Dean

Last year was quite a Christmas for the Carters. Danny Dyer’s alter ego Mick not only discovered that Dean had raped his wife Linda but was also dealt the blow that Dean’s his brother, not his nephew. The sensational episode will be hard to follow but, with Bobby on the loose, Easties could well top it this year…
